We make registering easy – you can sign up through our website here. Classes fill up quickly, so be sure to register early.

Each session follows a loose structure:

• Opening circle. Come ready to sing and get to know each other!
• Warm-up activities. We love a gentle start to our session of sensory play.
• Sensory learning. Focus, coordination, and confidence are developed through imaginative play, exploring different textures, and creating special memories.
• Closing circle. We’ll sing our goodbyes to one another. 

This format helps kids ease in, feel safe, and gradually explore new materials.

No. Our age limits are guidelines, though most parents tend to follow the recommended age range. This is wonderful because you get to know other families with kiddos the same age as yours. 

Keep in mind that the three-and-under sessions will be slower-paced and more gentle than the five-and-under sessions. We trust that you know your child best, so feel free to join whichever class you sense is right for your family.

While we have aprons for both kids and adults, we recommend wearing clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting a spot of paint or a splash of water on.

We use non-toxic, washable paints and age-appropriate sensory materials like soil, water, foam, and more. For our younger groups, we often use food-grade items to keep things play-safe.

Absolutely. We know how difficult it can be to juggle multiple kids, so siblings are welcome to participate together, even if they fall outside the recommended age range. We offer sibling ticket options for every class.

Nope. We want to keep things exciting and engaging, so we introduce a new theme and special focus every week. No two classes are the same, and each one is designed to spark kids’ interests in new ways. 

Wall painting is definitely one of our favorite activities. But, to keep things exciting for kiddos and parents, we also focus on other activities like creating an obstacle course and making a spider web using sensory-focused materials.

First, take a deep breath! Curiosity in motion is still curiosity! Children process new environments through movement – running around, touching different things, exploring hidden corners… It’s how they make sense of the world and is completely normal. 

What looks like “not listening” or “not participating” is often just curiosity on the go.

Familiarity builds comfort, and comfort builds focus. As your child gets to know our space, our teachers, and the rhythm of class, that need to wander naturally fades.

If your child hesitates with sensory play, that’s okay and totally normal. 

Some kids dive right into the slime. Others prefer to watch first. Both are learning. New textures, temperatures, and sensations can feel big at first – it takes time to feel ready.

The secret is gentle exposure, not pressure. Let them watch, touch with one finger, or notice another child’s big smile as they play. Every tiny step builds confidence.

Keep offering those chances to explore, they are so good for their development. The more familiar it feels, the braver they’ll become. What starts as cautious observation often grows into joyful participation.

At Otto, we believe there’s no single “right” way to play. Some children leap in; others ease in. What matters most is that they feel safe, curious, and supported as they grow forward – one squish at a time.

• An air purifier runs during all class sessions
• Floors are cleaned and sanitized before and after each class
• Play areas are covered with gymnastic mats for extra protection
• During certain activities, like water play, floors may become slippery — we’ll always remind parents to be cautious and keep an eye on changing conditions

Our seasonal pass includes all the themed classes planned for that season, from spring and summer to fall, winter, and special holiday sessions. We’ll automatically enroll you in each class, so there’s no need to register every week.

Each session within the season offers something fresh with new themes, materials, and skills to explore. So every class feels like a brand-new adventure. Attending regularly helps your child build confidence, familiarity, and the freedom to explore at their own pace.

Since each class is customized and we prepare materials in advance, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to offer a refund.
